Why would traps make your shoulders look smaller? That doesn't make sense unless it's terribly out of proportion, i.e. the shoulders are underdeveloped. Huge overdeveloped arms could also make your shoulders look smaller.

What traps do is make your torso look longer, and make you look overall more masculine. This is good for lanklets with long limbs and smaller midsections (and naturally lower test).

I think traps can be too big. If you start to develop that sloped shoulder down syndrome look, your aesthetics go to shit. I feel like that shape has more to do with genetics than size though
