I just escaped from extreme skinny fat mode and now I'm entering dyel mode.

Weight dropped quite a bit over the first couple weeks, but I'm back up to where I started, replacing fat with muscle and water weight.

If its not caused by excess Growth Hormone, it's possible you just have a lot of fat packed around your organs, which is really unhealthy. Its often called a beer gut where I am from.

In that case you need to really commit to a clean diet that is well below your TDEE and you will fix it. On the other hand if it is not fat, see a doctor.

I've gained ~5lb so far this summer and while most of it went into muscle in the glutes and abdomen some of it went into fat and now some of my ab definition has gone away. I'm going to have to do a light cut and hope not to lose to much progress. I've already pretty much reached my goal for the glutes and now I just want to get a bit more definition in my abs.

Currently my ab routine is just crunches and plank, once I can reliably do 2min plank I'm going to buy a plate and start doing weighted planks. Anything else I should be doing?

You won't be able to do weighted planks based on how skinny you are. Bulk up first and lift heavy to actually get a strong core before you do heavy ab shit. Once you've built your base do this:
Leg Raises x Failure
Weighted Incline Sit-ups x 25

Broken socially/mentally. Many traumatic experiences in my childhood left me with clinical anxiety and overall apathy. I can't cry anymore, I havent in years and I'm only just now 18. For weighted planks it all depends on how heavy the weight you're doing. Don't do a 45lb plate at first. Slowly build up to it. I'd say you should start with a 25lb but desu it seems like your core is very weak. A 2 minute plank is not very impressive many people who don't even lift can pull that off. Since you're not willing to lift heavy you'll most likely be stuck with a subpar core doomed to endless crunches.

If you're not sure if you're doing it right then you aren't. Use MyFitnessPal religiously to actually see what you're eating. Everyday.
