So I strained a muscle in my lower back while diddlylifting. Doctor says
>no heavy lifting
>no running or biking
>no boxing
>no wrestling
for a couple weeks. What do I do to stay in shape? Bodyweight? Swimming? I need ideas for exercises and conditioning that won't aggravate my injury.
pounder on the peer pressure that forced you to feel compelled to do the single worst exercice for your back in an attempt to fit in, 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps

If you strain a muscle or partially tear it then you rest for a day or two then immediately get it moving. do some sets of certain movements for the muscle then to it everyday. Add load as the days goes by.
does swimming breaststroke cause knee pain?

I'm worried about my right shoulder. I felt my collar bone pop like I was cracking a knuckle yesterday. I look and where it meets the arm is distended and kinda swollen like a joint injury. At the same time though, I have no trouble moving my shoulder and I've even done shoulder day today without out of ordinary pain or drop in strength. Should I worry? Or did I probably just sleep on it funny and I'm just being a hypochondriac sperg?

this is true but take it veeeery slowly
if you overdo it you might tear it completly and get rekt

You increase the weight slowly, little by little over days. But you dont need to do the movements very slowly.

I did the same while doing manual labor I was unaccustomed to for too long a little while ago. I'm just doing upper body and some careful back extensions (BW) for a while and haven't aggravated anything yet at least. I'm gonna try light deadlifts later this week and I imagine it'll be fine based on the back extensions going well. You might try something similar.
