The only thing I know for sure is I should be doing lots of squats, dead lifts, and other compound lifts.
How heavy, how many reps, how many days per week and what kind of rest between sets?
An example that highlights my confusion:

>Research indicates there are three factors that maximize post-workout rises in testosterone. They include training large muscle groups, lifting heavy, and using short rest periods.
http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/health-fitness/mens-health/6-ways-to-increase-testosterone-with-exercise
>Use Long Rest Periods: Scientists have studied the effects of very short rest periods on testosterone and found that longer rest periods of around 120 seconds between sets are better for building testosterone (although you can still build other hormones, such as growth hormone, with shorter rest periods).
What the fuck?

long and short are subjective adjectives
to someone used to resting 3 minutes between sets, 120 seconds is short.
