i heard that this was a myth with no solid science behind it. but in your experience, do you think it's true?

it's more accurate to say that we don't know enough yet, but to me it makes a lot of sense to eat right after exercise and I don't think you'll find any pro athletes who don't eat something after training.

I have a protein shake like 45-1 hour after my workout. My workout ends, I stretch a bit, walk home from gym, take a relaxing shower, and then have it. I've still been seeing good gains so yeah, it's a joke. As long as you have something like not more than 90-120 mins after workout you shouldn't be impacted negatively I think.
