How do I gain if I have allergies to dairy, nuts, fish, eggs, and soy??? Rice chicken potatoes is hard to eat everyday. Can't put milk in my shakes for extra calories.... Am I doomed to be a failure because I'm too beta to choke down my food?
Besides that it takes 40 minutes to walk to my gym. I've contemplated running there but it's exhausting to do it every time I need to go. Switch gyms or get used to the run?

I don't think I have any issues with digesting protein. I'll take the advice given so far and just eat until I fit my macros. It just sucks that I have to eat that much when my friends can just drink their calories or just eat a shitload of nuts. That's just life I guess
