I used to lift a lot and was fairly muscular. I didn't eat for around two weeks due to a stomach flu. At the end of it I was 160, the leanest I had ever been (down from my previous 180).

What's the point? I mean, I get hating is a big part of /fit/ culture, but what's the point of making such a comment? I know I look like shit, I know I have little to no gains, I've only been lifting for a year. Post your body, let us critique you, let us help you benefit from /fit/ by telling you what you should work on.

I need to work on literally everything, for example. Give me another year, I'll be aesthetic one day. If people are putting in the work, there should be no reason to belittle them or discourage them. It's better for your mind and soul to only give constructive criticism or to offer them help.

First time posting on /fit/. Been lurking a bit recently since I decided I want to stop being a waste of life. Thought about making this a thread, but maybe this is the best place.

Girlfriend and I broke up a few months ago and it's been pretty rough. But, I'm getting over it. Within the last two weeks though, I got fired from my job for the most bullshit reason and my truck decided to break down. Life has been kind of a wreck. I did, however, have a major boost of confidence a within the past few days and I thought to myself "If I can do this being the skinny piece of shit that I am, imagine if I started working out."

So, I'm going to do it. I going to turn my life around and stop being a depressed, unemployed, carless stoner. I deactivated all of my social media and currently only have Tinder on my phone. Uninstalled all games off of my PC and I'll hopefully work up the courage to disconnect my PS4. I currently only have two 15lb. dumbbells and a punching bag at my disposal, but I've got to start somewhere. All I have to do is get my truck fixed, get a job, and get /fit/. Those are my three main goals and I know I can get that shit done.

if you intend to get /fit, you're gonna need more than a pair of 15 lb dumbells, but it's slightly better than nothing. once you get your truck/job situation taken care of, get a gym membership and start a proper routine(push/pull/legs or similar.)
until then, do pushups, goblet squats, rear delt raises, bicep curls. and pullups(if you have somewhere to do them)

work on getting more reps over time, since you won't be able to add weight for now.

Entered strict Ketosis on a 600kcal deficit and went from 85kg (187lbs) -> 75kg (165lbs).

But that's not the point of the program.

The point is to progress slowly but steadily. If you read Mehdi's wiki he explicitly says the program isn't made to get sore or struggle, it's to consistently add weight.

If you just randomly put on 25kg on your deadlift (which you can probably do once, if at all) you'll hurt yourself and stall very quickly.

I just started riding the stationary bike for 25-30 minutes before each workout, doing upper/lower/rest and trying to eat a surplus. Its challenging to meet my needs daily with weird hours working in a restaurant. 5+ months in, SS now doing Texas Method for the second month, kind of lazy these days.

Low bar squat: 95 kg 5RM (can squat more but focusing on fixing all aspects of technique)
Bench: 75 kg 5RM
The press: 52.5 kg 5RM
Deadlift: 120 kg 4RM, pretty sure can do 120 for 5 now since switched to hookgrip but not doing 5RMs for deadlift often since I am doing TM.

I've been doing push-ups for a long time, my max was 70 push-ups with solid depth, also lots of handstanding, was able to do one hand stand push-up and almost touch floor with my face without leaning on wall when I was around 52 kg so I had a good base going in.

I know but decided to try it since I got sick of SS and deloading aslo couldn't squeeze more calories in my day so at least I have fun in gym now. I think about trying to run SS again with 4000+ calories a day but it doesn't seems like fun thing.
Also it is intermidate squat for my bodyweight if you look up for it at Symetric Strength.

That's gonna be hard because I've been working-out since before I hit puberty, football/wrestling and late bloomer.

That being said, I got meningitis freshman year of college and dropped down to 112 bodyweight and had to start from scratch.
Bench in 6 months went from like 135x1-225x1
squat-205(ish)-275(ish)
deadlift-2pl8s-3pl8s

It doesn't seem like you have read the sticky or you are looking for excuse to prolong going to gym.
Either way, bulk at 3-4k calories a day and lift heavy, I suggest SS as long as you progress an focus on learning all aspects of lifts aslo add a lot of chin-ups straight away and don't neglect power cleans. After that do whatever you want since you have solid strength base.
