>>how many miles a week are you doing (or going to do)
70-90 depending on what our coach has scheduled.
>>how was your last run
Pretty nice, this week is a down/easy week before 3 really tough weeks, so it was just some easy mileage.
>>what are you training for
College Freshman trying to make it to Nationals in XC.
>>any good gear worth sharing
I've always liked my Saucony Kinvara 7s, and my Garmin 230.
Also, threadly reminder: https://www.strava.com/clubs/fitizens

How fast does one's cardio improve?
Just started running yesterday. Was able to do a 5 minute half mile before my side stitch got the better of me.

>how many miles a week are you doing (or going to do)
Just under 10 (started running again in May after years of being sedentary)
>how was your last run
Alright, 10k walk-run thing. I noticed my earbuds sounding weird right at the end, figure it's sweat interfering somehow. What sort of earbuds/headphones do you guys use?
>what are you training for
Having a decent aerobic base. Possible future goals include seeing if I can kick the crap out of the army physical standards that gave me so much grief at 20
>any good gear worth sharing
Lel no. I'm a poorfag

You've literally just gotta keep running. The more you run, the better you'll get at it and the longer you'll be able to go.

thanks for the strava club, didn't know it existed

Apart from the Strava group, are there any advantages compared to mapmyrun?
>>42432050
I've never used mapmyrun, so I couldn't honestly tell you. I don't think you can plan courses on Strava, but it records distances fairly accurately, and accepts uploads from watches and a few other running sites.

Yesterday I ran 11km. I haven't run at all for years but have been active in other sports.
I just put my runners on and started running, had my headphones too.
I might do it again today out of spite. I'm in my late 30s.
There, I just talked about running. It was boring af.
