Gym Owners, what are the financial realities of opening up and running your own gym? How much is the startup cost? How much does it cost to run? I'm interested in my own 24 hour, bare bones gym
What a hideous creature.
Franchise pf. If they were not banking they would not be expanding like this. Letting fatties pretend they work out is always going to be more popular than delivering results

This. Gyms make money only two ways:
[1] Having shitty trainers keeping idiot members on useless programs
[2] Having a fuckton of members pay but don't show up

Do some research and figure this out for yourself.

i agree, if you were actually serious OP you'd realize you can find all the info out yourself. none of us know your real estate prices, what kind of setup you want, etc.
its clear you arent really serious, its just a thought you are having in passing.
I've thought about this too. I imagine insurance has got to be fucking awful for a 24 hour gym but I'm not sure.

You should def do some homework on the brands of machines, and see if you can get quality machines for cheap though a company that buys used machines, fix em up and re-sells them for a fair price. If you're in Canada, Vancouver has great place for it. If you're going to make a gym, build a good quality ones.... one of the biggest key to a successful gym is having quality machines that everyone, especially real bodybuilders and other professional lifters approves.

Or I could be asking to get advice and input from people who already have done it rather than general one size fits all advice online
Fcking millennial
