Hey guys, Looking for some advice for a friend of mine who is a sad sack of shit who needs a kick in the ass.
Gamer buddy of mine weighed about 330 two years ago, got himself down to 220. He still had a way to go and he knew it. In the last 6 months he's gained about 50 pounds. He lifts weights, but has started a new job where he's not got as much time for it. The only other thing that's changed is that he's on meds for depression.
Basically I'm asking for some help with food, this guys diet is hot garbage, but if I'm going to give him this kick in the ass to get back on it I need to have a list of food he can eat. His whole family is fat, I've met them, they all eat like utter shit every day. This is a funny guy but he's got no spine, I want to see him get the weight off and get confident. Sorry for the rambling, I'm just pissed off he made all that progress and then regressed back into being a slob.
TL;DR Meals for a fatso to get back into shape.
Also if anyone with depression who has a hard time keeping weight off can let me know if anything helps, I'd appreciate it. I'm just a lurking skelly so I thought it'd be best to ask rather than guessing

Tell him what you eat. Unless your are doing the cooking, what will giving him a list of healthy foods do? He had 3 to have the drive to cook for himself.

Nah, apparently when he was losing weight he was just not really eating anything, so of course it didn't stay off.
Me, I'm coming here for help, I'm an /r9k/ guy. I eat a bag of noodles and one egg everyday and that's it. I want this guy to succeed, if I knew HOW I wouldn't be asking.
I think he cooks for himself, but has crappy habits also. Eats a lot of take out and the like. I can ride his ass about eating take out, but the least I can do is offer an alternative.
