i'm trying to figure out how much weight i have to lose and what's a reasonable time to do it.
i weigh 85kg (after about a week of "cutting", so very little water weight on me). from visual estimation, i'm about 24% body fat. my goal is to cut down to 12%.
so, this means i have 64.6kg lean body mass. at 12% with the same lean body mass, i would be 73.4kg.
(side question, isn't this too little? i'm pretty muscular, and i'm 6'0, it seems to me like this is borderline anorexic weight..)
anyway, this means i have 85-85*0.76/0.88 = 11.6kg to drop. is this correct?
assuming i take it slow, at a long 500 caloric deficit, assuming 7800 calories deficit = 1kg fat loss, i should get there in 6 months.
does that make sense?
Are you not planning to add any muscle in 6 months? Given enough protein and exercise, in 6 months you should add muscle despite a small 500 deficit.
