Hey /fit/ what is the optimal set by rep count? I see 3x5 all over the place but when I used to lift before (years ago, got fat, trying to get fit again) I was doing 3x8.
So that's basically my question, what's the best set by rep count?
Bonus questions: is this what you mean when said by "lift for reps"?

the 3x5 wont do shit for muscle growth i make the most gains with 4-5 x 10-12 with shorter rest periods. Thats just from my experience. the bros are right in a way
