>Grass fed beef heart
Where did you get this and how much did it cost?
(to anyone wondering about cholersterol - it doesnt matter if beef is grass-fed)
BTW are you aware of the "grass-fed" scam where they grass feed it its whole life and then bulk it on grain in the last 6 weeks? this negates ALL the health benefits and is VERY common as grass-fed beef doesnt have much regulation

Grass fed and finished so none of those grain finishing shenanigans. I got it from my butcher for $2.50 a lb since hardly anyone wants it a whole fucking heart. 6 lbs. They're huge.

Thanks to you im looking at stewing it and batch cooking it in my big 50l pot.

cholesterol of heart in general is quite low: Beef heart easily fits within a balanced diet based on total fat, but it does contain 105 milligrams of cholesterol in a 3-ounce portion. That’s almost half of the recommended daily intake of cholesterol. Chicken breast and other cuts of beef, such as the tenderloin, rib eye and ground beef, only have 54 to 58 milligrams of cholesterol in a 3-ounce serving.
BTW does it taste good? please describe
