What do you think of the alberto nunez style lateral raise?
have you tried them?
i find they hit the lateral delts way harder than a normal or even cable lateral raise.
it resembles an upright row, but instead of the elbows flaring up they are kept in the exact same plane as the shoulder joint

in-depth explanation
uh what that's a one arm upright row

did you watch the video of explanation?

He's just doing an upright row with a different focus
It's not a lateral raise because he's not isolating the delt head.

Dude, I don't need to listen to an 8 minute video of him justifying why he wants to call that a raise.
If I want to call my lateral raises using a shotput (what I keep at work as a toy since sitting too long means stiff shoulders & back for me) a $MYNAME raise, that's all fine & well. I'm just not expecting every other lifter to call it that

That's a one arm lateral raise. He's cheating to boot

I met this guy irl, he's super knowledgeable and very nice.
He's small as fuck though, not manlet small but 160lb at his height is just really not very big, he looks much better in videos and pictures.
theres nothing special about a truncated movement. a more effective and longer term healthier lift more focussed on performance and mobility would have you finish the movement with an external rotation and press. training your muscle groups in split movements like this is only really useful for getting a pump, you arent developing superior mobility and strength in extended positions. making a video about it and calling it anything other than a bent arm lateral raise with kettlebell is narcissistic.

>$MYNAME
>not ${my_name}
Not gonna make it.
what helped me the most to developed a decent middle delt was simple using a resistance band and doing lateral raises
