Here is my advice though to help your logical and analytical skills increase:

Homeless people have an average IQ of 70.

If you had to pick one factor to give your children, it would be a genius level IQ. A high IQ makes you wealthier, and by extension healthier, and happier. You look at the world and understand the systems at play, able to manipulate them to serve you.

My time to shine, I work as an education sector consultant and have a degree in education and social policy from Northwestern University.

Increasing IQ isn't really that important all things considered. You can still pursue a well rounded education through keenly developing autodidactic skills through practicing motivation and effort.

A good way of maximizing your brain is to be well rounded. Here's a list

To know the evil and goodness of which men are capable, further study history, and study the constitution to know the mechanisms that have been created to protect our rights and freedoms.

And so on and so forth. Study mathematics principles to learn how numbers are used and misused in the media. Study economics. Etc.

I can go on but hopefully you get an idea. Read longform journalism, read classics, read textbooks, read NY times best sellers. Take notes in the books you read. Ask questions. Email the authors. Write a blog trying to make sense of everything you read and form your own opinions.

Well, no and yes. I mean you can certainly make people fulfill their potential through environmental factors, but the reality of IQ is that this potential in a certain group of people is distributed normally, meaning that you get the bell shapes we see in the OP, no matter what you test or how you look at it. It's just a matter of statistics.

Black people don't have lower IQs because they're poor. They have lower IQs because that's just the way that they are. And they're largely poor because of it, too.

blacks generally have lower IQ's, coming from a black person, (half german, half jamaican) I can tell you that many of my people aren't too bright, but we still definitely have lots of very intelligent blacks as well.
IMO our culture is what holds us back. We have a culture based on social media, useless shit like sports and rap music, and ignorance.
Many times in highschool, I'd speak in proper english and be told by my black friends that "I sounded white as fuck", they also got super mad when other people used the N word, but would use the word themselves freely in front of non-black people.
There are outliers, however. Smart black people are very smart, but our culture reinforces the dumbness of us a lot of the time.
It's most reinforced in the younger people, the teens and young adults.
As we get older my people generally get calmer and more intelligent, but during out "prime" years, we make many mistakes.
About being poor, that can be attributed to IQ.
Being black I've been treated nicely by schools and jobs simply because they want "diversity", and to look nice to passerbys, so there's absolutely potential for us to find work, a lot of us are just lazy.
Not all of us though. Never forget that many of us black folk are intelligent, work hard, and are respectful people. Please don't let the ignorant ones change your opinion.
Even if they're in high number, the ignorant, unintelligent blacks are hated by the rest of us.

I don't have the links with me atm but I can tell you what to look for.
We know that a version of the MAO-A gene is correlated with more aggressive response to stressors: basically if you take two groups of people, one with the more "pacific" version and one with the more "aggressive" version and you subject them to stress, you're going to find out that the latter are going to react aggressively more commonly. Without stressors, if I remember correctly, there shouldn't be differences.
Then there are CAG repeats in the androgen receptor genes: having a lower amount of those correlates with several things, among them you can find hyperactivity and anti-social behavior.
Both of these (MAO-A 2R and a smaller number of CAG repeats) are found more frequently among african american than european americans. I don't know if this is applicable to all africans but I doubt it.

In Africa there are many instances of violent behaviour as well, so I wonder if it stems from the motherland, but regardless, I believe the studies.
It's a shame my people behave this way, but it's simply a fact of life at this point.
I just hate how people act like genetic science isn't a real thing. When a white persons says "blacks are genetically proven to be generally more violent than other races", people call them racist, yet when I say this about my own people, they act less offended at the facts, and only act like I just hate my own people. Incorrect.
Regardless though, I generally believe that in certain aspects of life, certain races are "superior" to others, but that's an entirely different topic.
But be honest, culture aside, just from interacting with people of all races, disparity in their behaviour and intelligence is noticeable at times. Not all the time, but it's noticeable.

Yes, IQ isn't much "inspective" in what kind of thinking you are better at but presents overall picture of range your brain can move in thinking

I am 120 myself and while I don't really care I can notice the way I filter informations, learn and actually understand things, be patient and understanding to others, functioning in groups
while, on the other hand I see people with lower IQ than me being easily frustrated and not understanding of how can someone not know/understand something they do (work related). It is a perspective you are able to see and use on a daily basis, noticing things and not being borderline about them (gym freak mania, for example).
