Breakfast of champions try mixing too eggs unless you don't want to make it.
I once did this too. My advice is that if you don't like fried eggs, don't do this. Absolutely disgusting
You're supposed to microwave it until it forms a crust, baka.
Alternatively, fry up some eggs over-easy if you want a savory oatmeal runny yolk.

So when you microwave it, do you still add water?
>>42380579
I keep my leftover oats already cooked with milk but they still get hard when left for a few days, so what I do is add a splash of water, nuke it for a few minutes to soften them up, then stir in eggs and whatever else I want to mix in, then nuke again for a few minutes to cook it into a pudding-like texture.

>Can a microwave even cook eggs properly?
Microwaves cook eggs extremely well due to their high water content. It's actually the best way to make hard-boiled eggs. Only takes 3 minutes on my microwave's highest setting. Perfect, everytime.

Heart disease gains
This is what I have been doing for a while:
>Put oats and water in a bowl, add vegetable broth powder and mix well
>leave in the refrigerator to soak for 15 min or so, then remove excess water
>microwave for less than a minute so just a part of the water goes away
>mix well, then add a can of tuna, curry and black pepper. Mix well again.
>Microwave just one or two minutes so the remaining water goes away,
>Be careful not to leave it too much time in the micro (it'll end too pasty) or too little (too liquid)
Try it out, I have been eating this for a week and it's really delicious, also it has like 20g of proteins.
What are some other good non-sweet and non-dairy oats recipes that you do?

okay tubby. enjoy your clogged arteries and heart disease when you are 50
Since people are posting their recipes.
I've made what I call Black Forest Oats
just because the taste reminds me of a misty morning forest with moss over the rocks and and you can smell the cold and padded dirt that's wet from the dew.
anyways:
>70g rolled oats
>1 packet of raisin date and walnut oatmeal
>mix
>bring to boil LIGHTLY salted water
>pour over oats to where they're just submerged
>as that sets grate over whole nutmeg, just enough to cover it all
>then sprinkle over cinnamon.
You don't want to actually taste the cinnamon, you're using this spice to help provide contrast to the nutmeg
>then add FRESH CRACKED black pepper
>don't even fucking do this with ground pepper or it'll be worthless
>fresh cracked pepper is what really gives this foresty experience
>mix together
>pour a couple more tablespoons of water should you find it needed.
>sprinkle over ~3 teaspoons of brown sugar
>mix and enjoy
I have eaten a lot of different oats but I have not moved on from this recipe for over 6 months now. I seriously look forward to them with my coffee every morning
