anyone have experienced with stabilizing a dysfunctional Metabolism?
5'11 205lb Manlet here.
currently in a position where my body doesn't burn fat at 1500calories despite training for an hour and a half on average at the gym (boxing).
I used a 1500 calorie diet to lose 160lbs a few years ago, and am now trying to reach 170, but I've run into this hiccup, that my metabolism is fucked up.
anyone have input or knowledge of this? I want to go to the gym and train for boxing but I've read that excess cardio won't help fix my metabolism and I should focus on lifting.

Keto. Lifts will suffer but after 2-3 months of adaptation you can do TKD and get it back to your initial weights.
