So this thing is a polyurethane protective skull cap. Apparently it absorbs and disperses the blow to the head. My question is am I being memed or would this actually protect me from being injured?

I have a helmet, I'm just asking if this will also provide extra protection faggot.

I couldn't find any studies on it, so I don't think you're going to get any sort of real answer. Personally, I'm dubious, since rugby scrum caps have been shown not to do anything, and that's what this looks like.

Thanks anon.
yea it could absorb some shock i guess
But if youre trying to prevent a concussion or minimize the chances goodluck. Even a helmet barely helps. Most concussions aren't even direct hits to the head

Np mang. I assume you're playing football? As long as you've got good equipment, I think the biggest key is to just get stronger and tackle with good form. In particular, a stronger neck has been shown to correlate highly with reduced concussion risk, see below. Idk if your team teaches shoulder leverage (rugby style) tackling, but I really do believe that it's safer than head across the bow (which is most teams teach), maybe ask your coach about it.
