Plateaus are rough. Sometimes I have periods where I'm just fuckin RAVENOUS so I give myself a week at maintenance and that usually takes care of it--however, don't use the extra calories to eat like shit, make sure it's a clean surplus with lots of protein.

I have a meal plan that i follow everyday. Done 2 clean refeeds so far and one cheat day and will be doing another one this weekend as i work part time in a physical demanding job. Ehh people here are trying their best to better themselves and get healthier. From what I gather a lot of other people here (including me) are not even obese, just overweight - I'm right in the middle of a healthy bmi myself but just use these for encouragement & motivation to cut down to where I'm really lean and muscles are visible before clean bulking.

Besides seeing really overweight people succeed and make it makes me extremely happy and is wholesome. This general is the most pleasant and positive niche in this board in my opinion.

How do retards seriously believe in "plateaus" and shit. The only true plateau is due to water retention increase due to your body adapting. When you eat a normal days worth of calories or just continue to diet, you'll piss like a race horse one morning and "lose" 6 lbs.

You aren't special, your body is fueled by something and if you are really keeping your diet (I bet you aren't) your body will start to take from fat stores to make up for the lack of energy intake.

Your body isn't that much different from a car. Your car doesn't hit a fuel plateau, the dial is always dropping if you don't refill.

When I said I workout I meant I go to the gym. Lifting is the main thing I do and at the end of my workout I just go on the bicycle.

My upper-body workout consists of some Dumbbells, EZ Curl Bar, Lat Pull Down, Bench Pressing and 1 or 2 more for triceps. Had to basically google their names in English, my bad if something sounds awkward.

I did something really bad


I made some chicken curry using this red thai curry paste I found online, it was perhaps the hottest stuff I've ever eaten.

I decided I wasn't going to pussy out so I finished it all. That's not the worse part, the worst was the pain from it coming out my ass.

It was like being raped by satan. I heard some where that ice cream relieves the pain, so I got a spoon and started spooning ice cream inbetween my buttcheeks. While the ice cream was doing it's job I decide to grab a bite of it, it wasn't until my mouth started burning again did i realize what I did.

not enough exercise probably. i work out every day for an hour + cardio (5k's + 4km of walking fast to my running spot as warm up) 3-4 times depending on how busy i am. you are probably skinny fat. you have to slowly lose weight by eating at a reasonable caloric deficit, eat a fuck ton of protein and be exercise a lot, fasting for days and other shit like that don't work unless you are morbidly obese. i recommend omad though, i'm still doing it.

I had been eyeing a job position since January and today they finally called me, the interview went great and they told me i started on Monday, but 2 hours later when i got home the girl who interviewed me said she made a mistake and someone had already taken the job.

Let's just math this out senpai. The main guy that article about is Danny Cahill. He was 46 when he went on the show and weighed 430lbs at 5'11". He exercised 7 hours a day, burning 8,000 to 9,000 calories according to the provided tracker. using tdeecalculator.net and setting it to sedentary for an accurate reading, his MAINTENANCE calories at that height and weight BEFORE exercise were 3,423 calories. So, before even eating a thing this guy is burning negative 4,577 calories EVERY DAY. Now they also have him on a strict diet of 3,500 calories a day. That means this guy still has -1,077 calories at days end. Which means that he was literally killing himself and getting away with it because he was so fucking fat.

THAT'S why his metabolism is so fucked up. the dude was essentially eating nothing during his entire weight loss program. In fact he was burning so many calories that it fucked up his body forever. You do not need to worry about this. Keep on your 1300 kcal diet.

the biggest problem with weight loss shows like that is that they don't have the contestants lose weight in a HEALTHY way, instead they have them do it as fast as possible and then everybody acts surprised when it doesn't work.

the last cheat day I ate until my stomach felt like it was about to rupture and I still was hungry. I threw up just so i can experience the food again. I ate so much that day. I manage to lose it, but it takes a single extra bite to simply get totally fucking derailed like some sort of addict. Then in a single week I undo months of progress and get depressed and get even worse.

The only way that works for me is simply not eating. Going for long periods without food is easy as fuck. Its the act of eating that fucks me over.

I would recommend fatty fish with your salad brother if you can afford it or like its taste. Tinned mackerel is great and easy to add on salad, just dump the brine and/or sauce before you do. It's good for your cholesterol/blood pressure and is a healthy 'savory' meat.

yeah im actualy leaning down pretty good atm doing intermittent fasting, eating mostly natural foods, nothing overly processed.

But its that unfortunate birthday where you eat cake and then the next morning there is still more left so you have to eat it until it runs out.

Just walk, bro. The dirty secret about walking is that it is actually very good exercise, it's just kinda slow. Walk 10k steps / about 5 miles a day, that's how I started and it helped me a ton. Now I'm lifting too, but I haven't stopped walking.

Just remember it's an estimate, and your real body isn't consistent. I lost 30 pounds in 3 months, and I've been stalled around 200lbs for two and a half weeks now, eating less and exercising more than I was in those first 3 months. Personally, I deal with it using moderation.

If I'm really dying to have something, I get either a fraction of a portion (1/6th of a chocolate bar, for example) or I eat it but only rarely as a cheat meal (a cheeseburger with a bun line a goddamn American, once last month as a cheat meal).

I know this doesn't work for everyone, but it's absolutely working for me.

I had 1450 calories left over at 8pm cause all i had was a 6ish inch sandwich from safeway so i went to panda express and got a place with a double order of orange chicken and fried rice. everywhere online estimates this at about 1200-1300 cals but i dont know if i can trust it because of the variable portion sizes. i also had half a jelly donut which is about 180 cals according to the site. i finished the day 50 cals under and did an hour or so lifting at the gym today but im still a little worried i went over. idk. I started working out a lot and no longer get a lot of cravings and resist them if I do, but now I have problem meeting a necessary amount of calories to stay healthy. I don't think a deficit of over 1000 calories is going to help me out of my metabolism slows down to a crawl because of it. Also the hunger is fucking my sleep up hard. Please help.
