My findings on nofap/noporn suggest that noporn is a legitimate way of reengaging your mind with your erections rather than relying on outside stimuli. Nofap seems to have a detrimental effect and even causes pain for some if maintained in earnest for too long. It seems to take from 1 week to 1 month for negative side effects (testicular pain/tenderness, "deflated" flaccid size, premature ejaculation etc) to kick in, while you are hitting the "peak" testosterone increase by the end of the first week.
