Didn't even compete. My football coach made us train powerlifting style on varsity. All the skill got to do more accessory lifts. He was a complete fucking idiot. Linemen were not allowed to do bicep curls, anything with chest besides bench, tricep isolation movements, or rows. Completely fucked me over for my goals. Pretty much ruined my body and now I'm playing catch up. My arms have devolped but my chest looks like fucking shit. I'm making progress but I probably would have been so much better off not playing football. I was 185 my junior year and started and he said if I wasn't 220 by the first game he wasn't going to start me. Couldn't risk it so I became a fatass.

what ended up happening was i started lifting thinking calories didn't matter (fug) but i just became more hungry and ate more what i was given by my mommy so i went from 141 to 163 within the first 4 months and it just stagnated from there. learned about nutrition, but didn't have enough money to eat 3k calories a day and ended up just deciding to cut because i had larger love handles and eventually got down to 145 by like November 2016 and I finally got the money then to get 3k in me and got back to 160-165. atm money is tight but i'm just gonna accept not having the money to pay back people for school immediately and continue on with the bulk

Then you start the cycle again on Saturday as workout A.

I started out doing everything with the lightest weight possible. Just the bar for all major lifts, even if it felt way too light, the weight adds on very quickly and it helped me practice proper form. With curls, dips pulldowns I just picked up a weight I felt comfortable with and tried it, if it was too heavy. I would try a lighter weight next workout.

So i injured myself yesterday at the end of my gym session.. heard a nasty crunch and my shoulder rolled backwards in a painful way at the top of a seated shoulder press. Probably shouldnt have lifted so heavy after already exhausting my shoulders. Now it hurts to lift my arm. Resting and icing now :(

5'11", 177 pounds. Estimates on bf%? Im currently in caloric surplus mode but i dont want to get too fat.

Im saying, i go to the gym, and do push or pull. Basically my main workout.

But between my sets, i just randomly do some arm exercises. So i just did 2 sets of incline bench press and im like " oh well lets see lets do 2 sets of triceps overhead extensions do 1 set of incline again and then maybe a set of reverse curls".
I know you are thinking " so you hit triceps and do bench press right after wtf?".
Yeah thats what i do, im aware it makes my bench press weaker, i dont care.

Its completely random.

I keep track of the weight i use yes, but not how many reps or sets. I just hit muscle failure every single time. And when my arms have a nice pump i know i have hit them enough.

So yes, everytime i go to the gym, i hit arms. But i just throw those arm sets inbetween my rest periods for my main lifts, as i explained above.

And i didnt say i do alot of exercises for arms, im saying im doing alot of DIFFERENT exercises
