Let's say that for the last two years I've only trained the upper part of my body and disregarded my legs. Let's say now that I got massive noob gains in my chest and arms. What will happen if I start training my legs? Will I experience the same noob gains or are noob gains more related to something chemical on the brain rather than the training of a specific muscle?
Pic unrelated

they are neurological. although you do build more muscle in the first year of lifting compared to later on but when people talk about noob gains they aren't talking about building muscle but getting stronger

yes, you will experience novice effect because your lower body is untrained
Lets say you lose your noob gains due to laziness. Do they come back faster than they did?

yes

There is absolutely no such thing as noob gains
Its just easier to put on your first kg of muscle than it is to put on your second
