How important is diet really? I work out hard, look good, feel good, but man my diet is shit.
Breakfast:
>2 poptarts and a monster energy zero ultra
Lunch:
>whatever they have at work
Dinner:
>cup of easy mac, some ham, and a 6 pack of bud light
Like I have no health problems, sleep fine, have plenty of energy. Is diet really a problem if everything else is going well and I'm not having trouble making gains?
First time on /fit/ but wondering the same thing. I basically have the same diet but wanted to know if it's possible to lose weight reliably if I just work out extra hard
If you hit your protein and caloric goal, you'll be fine muscle wise. But your health and mental power will be shit.

"working extra hard" to make up for a shitty diet is a facebook-tier meme
