After two weeks, I am seeing some noticable changes but how long do you typically have to work out until you really see definite changes?
My biceps, triceps, forearms, shoulders, traps, thighs, and calves (but thats mostly from running) are looking a lot more muscular now when flexing but dont look much different when relaxed.

As an estimate I'd say it takes 2 to 3 months to start seeing results yourself but most people you know won't really notice until you've been lifting consistently for at least half a year or more. You're body is learning to use its muscles in ways it hasn't, but it hasn't had time to actually increase muscle mass yet

Alright thanks, this is what I was looking for, I can definitely keep going for this long, and as long as I see some results Ill keep going. And I imagine this timespan is for looking completely fit? >>42345116

Not OP but I have a question.
What if all your lifts are intermediate to low advanced level but you're starting to lift for hypertrophy for the first time after two year. How long will it take to see noticable results in terms of size?
what about if youre fatty and trying to cut
Just look in the mirror? Maybe never. You have to be attentive to notice gradual changes. If you put to picture of yourself next to each other, then assuming you aren't outrageously obese or already very muscular, I'd think you should be able to see some changes in a month if you look closely and clear changes within 3 months.

I've only been lifting two weeks and notice impressive gains already. I had like 0% body fat before though.

I lost my weight by running/walking for at least 30 minutes a day. At first I lost about 10-15 lbs in my first month with no special diet, then 20lbs and then 30lbs. At that point I slowed down because I was becoming skelly.
