Hey all,

I have just started Muay Thai lately. Loving it.
I am however very short and skinny and wanting to add size. I'm wondering what the best way to approach putting on size while still having may Thai in the picture. Should I be spending a few days at the gym and then 2-3 days training may Thai ? Very lost and not sure what kind of reps or weights I should be doing. thanks!

Run a 3 day a week program like the texas method and eat a fuck ton. And I mean a FUCKTON. You'll add strength and (hopefully) gain some weight. Go to muay thai practice as much as you can and do calisthenics on active rest days as well. You should be able to handle all that, but listen to your body that's a big workload. Don't be afraid to deload or do an extra rest day or two just DON'T SKIP MUAY THAI if you want to get good of course.

If size is your primary goal, muay thai isn't a good choice. I would do BJJ.

Read Tactical Barbell 1+2

I lift weights 2x a week, Muay Thai 3x a week and then have a jog/hill sprint day

ive been doing kk for 5 years and i can only tell you one thing

good luck

ive fought with muay thai fighters before and they are on a boad spectrum from mediocre to killing machine and i know its like that for every sport or martial art but muay thai seriously gives you so many oppurtiunities and techniques to use
