good for school work, made me more talkative --I'm a really quiet anxious person, but on vyvanse I could have 2hour+ conversations easily-- made me smoke close to a pack aday compared to 1 or two cig a day. Also made me an ass, I'd snap at people for seemingly no reason.
Also shit for lifting: no appetite, struggled to eat 800kcal a day, rapid heart rate during moderate exercise, dehydrating, shit feeling after stopping after a week. (only 40-60 mg/day)
Take it once a blue moon when you need a productive 12 hours, but not conducive towards bodybuilding/lifting

Its L-Lysine-dextroamphetamine. By itself it's inert. IIRC it's an amino acid bonded to a dextroamphetamine molecule in such a way that when your body splits off the amino acid as if it were breaking down a protein it releases a molecule of dextroamphetamine into your bloodstream. Since the enzyme that splits off the lysene works in a very predictable way, you get what is in effect a constant drip of amphetamines as the drug is metabolized.

They've known for a good long time that amphetamines reduce appetite. The problem is that they also tend to make people addicted or die, occasionally they make people's hearts explode.

In my case my shrink looked at me and said "I'm not sure if you have ADD but this will probably help." He then gave me scrips for 30's 40's, 50's and 70's. 12 refills each. and told me "Don't go up by more than 10 mgs a month".

So he probably figured "Well, this fat bastard is going to blow up his heart anyway, so this can't really hurt."

I had D-Amphetamine and it only made me depressed when I was depressed anyway. It just made it more intense. If I wasn't depressed, I was totally fine, like I am now.
