Sudden extreme headache after weighted chinups. Felt really dizzy just before doing deadlifts too.

Didn't drink enough water and probably pulled a muscle in my neck or just had exertion headaches. Was out of the gym for almost a month and lost a lot of strength because I was also cutting at -1k at the time.

It set me back like 3 months.

I have hyperextending knees. On a couple of occasions I've overextended them too far and I had pain for a few days afterwards. Once trying to break a piece of wood, another time just jumping up on a curb and landing awkwardly.
I'm just waiting for the day they inevitably snap the fuck up.

Have you been to a doctor about this? Could be wrong but if your knees can hyperextend, they can hyperextend. In other words, the very fact they can means you can't snap them.

Snapping your knees the wrong way during leg press is a myth perpetuated by that video of that girl doing it, which is fake as fuck.

The video you posted shows just how impossible it is - if you can press the weight, you can't snap your knees. If the weight is heavy enough to snap your knees backwards, you wouldn't be able to press it up/out in the first place.

ask her for her number see if you can work out some time or "something"
get her number and message her if she wants to get something to eat or genuinely lift together and chit chat in between
probably get laid within a week depending on the girl.

Yeah I mean taller they are the harder it is to look jacked so you're at the ideal height really. I look bigger than most people who go my gym because barely anyone squats or does legs or anything really beside chest and arms, they generally have small backs etc.

Biggest people in my gym give "the nod" to me but I've been training there a while too and started a lot skinnier and I can't imagine they feel intimidated at all even if they generally are sub 6ft.

Now that I mention it you can definitely see it on some peoples faces when they look down or can feel they're looking at you plus I have a generally unapproachable normal face but deep down I'm friendly I just don't like talking shit tonnes training.

Interesting to know though. I'm not big by any means but bigger than most as they just do the above mentioned lifts.

Back when I was in highschool before I ever really worked out at all I tried to bench what was probably like 115lbs on the crappy bench we had in our basement at the time. Mind you I was like 5'7 and very un-athletic, I unracked it because I wanted to see if I could do 100lbs (I didn't take into account the weight of the bar, but it was not an actual olympic barbell so I'm pretty sure it doesnt' weigh very much). I brought it down and got stuck and had to roll it off my body because no one was even home at the time. I can probably do like 215lbs now which is like almost 10 years later but still, WHOO LAUD.

And I've snapped my shit up pretty bad twice, once squatting 135 when I first started and another time deadlifting.

Don't forget that seated calf raise has the weight at on the end of a lever arm. The weight is actually a whole hell of a lot more than if you just took two 70 lb plates and did standing calf raises.

The one at my gym as you sitting about 1/3 out on the lever so you're doing a portion of your body weight, the weight of the seat and metal, and the plates.

Look here buddy, when you bench Press a barbell, you can rest on the safeties or on your abdomen and roll it off.

When you're doing decline dumbbell presses, the dumbbells should end directly above your chest. There aren't any safeties, or roll of shames. You either cling on and try to lower them as gently as possible without letting them plummet downward (either on your chest or face). If you can get them to your side, you can let them roll out of your fingers and onto the floor, but that would damage the floor and the weights.

Any barbell movement will always be safer than the dumbbell equivalent.

I was deadlifting, typical day, then suddenly sharp pain struck in the back, so bad, I had to stop and go home to lay on bed.

The sleep was shit that night because of back pain. After I woke up the next day, the pain was not getting any better, had to go to my family doctor, did X-ray, got sent to a rheumatologist, did blood test and MRI later, and I was diagnosed with ankylosing sponditis, essentially your own immune system fucks up your spine until all the vertebrates fuse together

Not strictly gym but when I was a big'ol fucking tub of lard (100 kilos, 178cm) I did Taekwondo for a while and the instructor tried to make flexible like normal people in 1 or 2 classes "to get you on par with the rest of the students".

One day we were laying on our backs and the task was to bring our legs and hips up and then as closer to our torso as we could (imagine trying to suck your own dick). I, the fatso I was, couldn't do much and this asshole came and started manually pushing my legs/hips closer and closer and as a result my position slightly changed and the weight was no longer supported by my back but by my neck, at this moment I literally felt a fucking thunder go through my neck and back and had to scream because of the pain I was in.

He almost incapacitated me, I had to go through physical rehab because my spine and all that shit was overextended and my vertebrae applied pressure on all the nerves and stuff.
