Well, motivation follows action, action rarely follows motivation. Just making training a habit and going through the first 21 days of muay thai training made me more motivated, i guess. Just getting used to having some discipline and structure in my life, allowed me to do more. Now i am doing more lifting on top and working on not being a fucking skinny bastard.
I started at 6'1 135lbs my dude. I couldn't do shit.
Start on the smith machines to gain strength, then move to a real bench press and squat rack.
Start with 5x5 sets. Once you're used to the balance of a real bar then start doing sets of 10x5, or like 15/13/10/8/6. Just make sure you don't fuck up your back or shoulders like an idiot, practice your form in a mirror most gyms have them.
Cardio kills gains. Protein powder, two scoops or more a day. Eat as much and drink as much water as you possibly can, make sure you shit every day and eat fiber too.
Find a qt3.14 and use them as your motivation, get your gains for them, because we both know you're a worthless piece of shit, but she might not yet.
