I started a low dose of Paxil a few months ago. The initial side effects (near-constant diarrhea, brain fog/malaise) resulted in an involuntary cut, but they subsided after a few weeks and i'm starting to feel better.

SSRIs fuckes up my drive and I think have permanently lowered my test a year after stopping them. Only reason I ever went on them was to stop the crazy when it was getting too much in a bad time in my life.

Still wish I never went on them, after a while you just deal with a different type of depression that comes from having your personality nuked into nothing by meds.

I'm not so down now, but since my time on meds I feel like any drive I had got killed and I'm still trying to recover my personality. Haven't managed to hold down any relationship since my meds time and it's all too easy to slip back into staring into space like you do on meds still.

I know it's hard, and most countries healthcare is wo fully set up to help but try to get axial counselling / therapy, not pills. Drs just chuck out pills that fuck you up and will keep playing chemistry set if you say these pills aren't the ones for you until they find an SSRI that stops you complaining.

They will only help you by improving your mood. In uncommon cases SSRI's can inhibit sex drive if taken in significant dosage daily (think 100mg+).
