So in my are the roads are not in good condition, when cycling I usually use my mtb. I take out my road bike only when I'm going with somebody else to a popular cycling route, but you have to get there by car. Recently I did a couple road races and want to get into triathlon next year, so I wanna spend more time on my road bike. And during winter there is a shitload of snow so no riding outside either.
So, I was thinking about getting rollers. They look fun and more "real" than using a regular trainer. Anyone have experience with them? I'm leaning towards pic related, elite arion digital smart b+ rollers with magnetic resistance. My only concern is this model looks like a toy, but whatever.
I have a basic one i use in winter, boring as fuck to use but it isn't as bad as taking half a year off in canadian winter. Feels hard to learn at first but in 20 minutes you get it, just start with it in between a door frame.
