so today I was doing really heavy incline dumbbell bench and I was wondering if anyone has experienced this?
I was about to throw back the dumbbells but before I did I took a deep breath, I threw them back did one rep and on the eccentric part I exhaled... then the next rep I got super light headed and semi blacked out (kind of like when you stand up to fast) and the next rep shot up incredibly easy, like zero effort. Keep in mind these were 105lb dumbbells and I was doing them for 3x5 so these are definitely heavy for me. The rep literally felt like I was lifting air... anyone ever experience this?
we call that "my brain has lost so much oxygen it can no longer input sense from the arms, or rest of body, correctly anymore"
you probably got a case of that + adrenaline spike because you brain thought it was bye bye time
You're supposed to inhale on the eccentric part and exhale on the concentric you dumbass.
