Fat neet here. Ive been struggling with my posture for a few years, but in the last few months have noticed something quite strange but cant seem to find anything on the internet about it.
Basically when my posture is really bad and slouched, I tend to stop using part of my back muscles and hold my abs in a permenantly tense. I notice when i do this for days on end while sitting I start feeling really stressed out, negative and in a very bad mood.
Then If I correct it, (which is hard to do, because im so not used to using parts of my back at all) then its like this weight is lifted from me mentally and IM instantly in a better mood and seeing things more clearly, and the sky doesn't feel like its falling anymore..
Can anyone explain why this might be or have any info regarding this?
It seems for me personally that incorrect slouched posture has a huge effect on me mentally. not just my thoughts but just the overall vibe goes from pessamistic to light and optomostic, based purely on my posture.
Im trying to find stuff online that relates to this and the only thing i've been able to find is holding in your gut all the time can create low level anxiety. but surprisngly not much else can be found

you're just ashamed of yourself for being a fat neet and it manifests itself in your posture

don't keep your abs tensed, retard
google "depression and slouching" or whatever its called. Basically depressed people have slouching posture where they hang with their heads, hunched over, taking up less space etc. You can also check out Elliot Hulse he has a lot of stuff on this on his youtube channel.
