Will my hands/fingers grow if I train grip strength a lot?

There are muscles in your hand but not in your fingers. Though the tendons in your fingers might get thicker from lifting but it'll take years before it's noticeable.

However, along with muscle gains in your hands, the soft tissue in your fingers that provide structural volume and support of the other components will become denser and thicker the more you train grip, as a response to protect the bone, tendons etc. Ever see a farmer's meaty hands and fingers?

From personal experience, since starting lifting and rope climbing, my once skeletal and repulsive fingers now actually look normal.

Do a grappling sport if you want finger gains. My fingers have seen visible gains under BJJ.
