Lifting problems general
The last one seemed pretty useful for people so this might be a regular thing. Discuss any conditions or issues you have with lifting (scoliosis, joint problems, anything), how you deal with it, how it feels, maybe even provide and advice for other anons.

I tore my right SC joint and had it rebuilt. Right shoulder is somewhat stiff as a result since the graft is much tighter to prevent another tear and I'm terrified when I bench that I could mess it up again. With that said I'd gladly trade the stiffness for the pain reduction, Jesus christ it hurt to so much.
Scoliosis reporting in, I can feel deadlifts more on the lower left side of my back, also my right shoulder blade is way more pronounced. it's not winging but I do have to consciously focus on tightening my upper right side for some lifts. Anyone have any good shoulder stabilisation tips?

Backlet here as well, I'm staying really light with squats/dl for a while with high reps and really focusing on form.
In the meantime I'm doing the 'big 3' ab exercises daily to improve overall core strength and stability.
Not really what you asked but that's my 2ยข

Has anyone experienced problems with shin splints when squatting? It's only in my right leg and hurts horribly whenever I squat low or go to take a big step.

Will planking every day help? I'm also a scoliosis fag and I always feel my core is what hinders my squat.

It wouldn't hurt, I've been doing these daily as well which includes side planks already

YES
Planks improved my overall lifts and even appearance to the point where I have no noticeable lean, obviously there's still a curve underneath, but visually and physically I'm much better off. All I've been doing for the last few months is a minute of side planks on each side and a minute regular plank and I notice a difference
