Assuming one eats their daily protein intake and eats at a calorie surplus, how often should weights be increased for a muscle if that muscle is trained every five days?

fuck that's a good bit of rest there. When I had just 3 days between lifts at max, ate my brotein, got my rest, and my cals in, I added at least 2.5lbs each session. that was with things like OHP. on Deadlift I could easily add 15lbs each session.
