I'm considering joining the Navy after I finish my undergrad program (following next year). I'd like to be able to destroy the physical fitness test. Any recommendations for related routines? I'm currently using a PPLPPLR routine, but I think adding some pure cardio days would be beneficial.
Bump I'm considering too op

OCS or enlisting? Just look up the up to date PRT standards for your age group and fucking slay that shit. Generally speaking, the Navy is the most gainz friendly branch. You can legit spend all your free time working out or eating when you're not on watch or working on quals.

Enlisted or Officer?
Regular PRT or the PST for NSW?

Pretty sure I'm just enlisting, seeing as I have fuck-all previous military experience.
And adjusting my current routine to work with the PF requirements is my plan, if I can't find a decent specialized routine.
It's the easiest thing ever, I've maxed it out. Just do runs, push ups and crunches in a balance so that you don't set the world record for a 1.5 miles run then fail the pft because you can't do pushups like that idiot.

if you have a 4yr degree, decent grades (over 3.0) and score well on the aptitude tests at the recruiting office you can put together a packet to try to be an officer
t. trying to go to OCS now

Gpa right now is around 3.0, I'll be able to raise it over the next couple semesters (doing 2 or 3 more)
