This seems legitimate to me, and I have no arguments against it other than "eat big to get big" slogans. Allegedly there are some anti-aging benefits, but specifically I'm looking to exercise the mechanism in my body that switches from using glycogen as a fuel source to using fat for easier cutting.

I'm going to experiment on myself with a short fast next week and see how it impacts my lifts and body weight. Supposedly the doctor argues, with some sciency graphs that you don't "burn muscle" but I dunno... am I going to lose my gains /fit/??
Schedule for next week, targeting an early week fast for ~36 hours with only water and black coffee (morning only).
> Sunday: Eat Dinner normal, begin fast and sleep
> Monday: continue Fast, lift, consume post-workout protein
> Tuesday: Fast, no workout, eat dinner
> Wednesday: Normal eating, lift
> Thursday: Normal eating, off
> Friday: Normal eating, lift
Might not do the post workout shake Monday afternoon, because it would break the fast but i'm not sure.
Where exactly is the 36 hour fast?

Sunday night after dinner (6)
All of Monday (unless I take protein) (24)
Most of Tuesday, until dinner that night (18)
Usually eat around 5-6pm. It's actually closer to 48.
Another interview where he specifically argues that fasting doesn't cause muscle loss.

Also bump. :(
i basically eat for 1 hour each day and be fasting the other 23 hours every day, then every 2 or 4 weeks, i am fasting for 1 full day, which basically will result in 48 hours. best decision i made in my life when it comes to eating and nutrition!
