I thought so too until i finally got back in touch with him to realize what a great asshole and toxic human being he is. I totally understood at that point why my mom ended up divorcing him.

Some people arent made to be fathers and dont give a shit about their offspring because they are full of themselves and unable to love because they got hurt in their turn so bad by others and their inability to process well criticism (which is needed to evolve and grow to be a better version of yourself). Its sad but true.
