Do vegetables have feelings too?
>>42230093
They don't have a nervous system, so no, they don't. At least it's not something comparable to animal feelings.
This is not /fit/ related but have a saged (You)

Not true, thatswhy lawnmowers are so loud, so you can't hear the grass screaming.

nutrition is definitively /fit/ related, a thinly veiled bait thread on the political issues surrounding veganism is not

meat eaters BTFO
Yes, vegetables are our friends and vegans are killers who think meat eaters are bad guys.
Well, guess what? A carrot has more feelings than a stupid cow, and that makes my burger better than your fucking salad.
>>42230093
Yes, but vegans will never admit it since their precious worldview will be scattered.
In humans, feelings are a brain-processed stimulii that causes an emotion, which can be shown through facial expressions, psychological thoughts, and other physiological manifestations.
A plant may be able to experience negative (or positive) stimulii because it's necessary for min-maxed growth and avoiding pain/death, but complex emotions like shame, guilt, embarassment, pride are too advanced.

Plants don't feel pain. Just because they can react to situations on a molecular level does not mean they have a nervous system. Even if they did, you'd still be contributing more to their suffering because much of our food is fed to livestock.
