Got a wart on the bottom of my foot at the gym once. 5 weeks of going to the doc, having him scrape flesh off my foot with a scalpel and then drop acid on my foot to bring the wart closer to the surface so he could eventually cut it out.

I deadlift/squat in socks if I've forgotten my deadlift/squat shoes which are actually Vans with Toy Story characters on them but they do the job.

It's becoming a bit of meme at my gym to do your entire workout in socks, regardless of whether or not it is actually beneficial. Yesterday I saw someone using the lat pulldown in socks and a weightlifting belt.

I've done this. Start with deadlifts then go bench press without shoes because it's comfy, like I'm working out at home

I only deadlift in socks. Hips feel too high and I don't like the extra quad activation in heeled shoes, and I'm not going to carry around an extra pair flats like Chucks in my gym bag.
