Ottermode is literally no lifting + lean. Just a being physically fit from swimming for example (hence the name otter)

Ottermode = plays sports and eats well but doesn't do any deliberate resistance training. Pic related is classic ottermode. Efron in your pic is athletic, he's been training for several years. Just look at that V-taper.
