Recommended starting weights for a 5'10, 170 lbs, 18 year old on this program?
Also, should I be doing cardio with this program?

Do this. I even started with half a plate but you quickly progress with deadlifts.
Do cardio if you like it. Best to do it after lifting or on none lifting days

Okay. How much weight did you add every day?

The answer to your question is simpler than you think it is.
You can only train at the level you can train at.
Pick weights that are not so much that you can't complete all the reps for the number of sets you're supposed to do.
It may take a couple gym sessions to determine what the correct loads are, but once you've done that then you can start steadily conservatively increasing the load every week. Just don't rush it. Remember: You can only train at the level (You) can train at. You can't rush it, you can't make yourself develop faster, and you should never, ever try to 'compete' with someone else. That way lies stalling out and failure. Slow and steady wins this race.
