Quick Question:
When calculating 2 grams of protein for every 2 kg of mass... should we use the lean mass weight or the total body weight?
Pic unrelated.
lean mass weight ofc if i think its what it is

1.5-1.8g/kg
Lean mass weight
If you arent overweight you can use your normal weight aswell, its easier
OP here
I thought it was total body mass weight.
thanks for the clarification
How does one calculate lean body mass? Google gave me something like
x=total body weight
Lean Body mass = x - x.body fat%
for example
if body fat% is 10
LBM = 100 - 100.10% = 90
But how does one calculate Body Fat %?

You have many methods. Of course all of them have levels of accuracy.
The easiest one is the navy method. You measure some parts of your body and then use a formula to calculate it. You can use an online calculator if you don't feel like calculating yourself.
Other methods includes using a caliper. Theres a lot of formulas for the caliper. All of them depend on where you take the measure.
The most accurate method is using a special pool but that's for specialized centers.

If you aren't seriously overweight, just use your regular weight. You may take a little too much protein, whatever, you don't need to ever give a fuck about that

There are different methods. Some less accurate than others.
