Long story short had to go on antidepressants.. Don't want them to impede my goals... Just curious if anyone has any advice or knowledge on any adverse inter reactions between Zoloft and supplements/protein powders etc. Thanks in advance.
I'm currently taking mirtazapine for depression, but it's not an ssri. I believe you should avoid any supplements that have an effect on serotonin whilst taking ssri medication. Yohimbine is apparently a no-no, although I take it with mirtazapine and I'm fine (I think...)
advice: get off ssri and stay off. it's good to have feelings.

Hey, I'm on Zoloft too.
Never had any adverse interactions when taking protein powder or anything else.
Ask me if you want to know anything, I guess.

Advice:
You can have feelings and be on an ssri. Theres an adjustment period between when the meds actually reach a concentration high enough to start actually working and when your body "learns" how to properly utilize a real-life human amount of seratonin.
Mainly just stay away from the shit in grapefruit so you don't die. Non-depressed people make gains all the time.

There's an actual process behind getting off them you dumbfuck.
Good chance you weren't on them for the proper amount of time/weren't properly weaned. Go see an actual doctor.

Got off them exactly as prescribed by the doctor the fact is simply that the pills damage the brain and should not be prescribed to people
