So are protein shakes worth it? I'm new to being super fit and was wondering what shakes everyone drinks?
Its convenient protein. Not necessary but I usually have 1 scoop with water after a workout because I'm too lazy to do anything else.
personally I prefer to hit my protein from meat and dairy and shit, but shakes are a real convenient way to make sure you're not lacking in that department
especially if you're a hungry skeleton who has trouble hitting macros from food, a shake or two a day to make sure you're not on protein deficit will help you make much faster progress

it's just extra protein. you could just eat a chicken breast instead, but powder is quicker and more conveniant

if you're bulking and a beginner then go for it, just make sure to stay at a reasonable number of daily calories so you put muscle on, not fat
