He and other SSCs have said repeatedly that anyone who's lifting should probably be using some kind of protein supplement and creatine (monohydrate only - the other forms are meme tier.) For the really committed stuff like beta alanine and BCAAs are optional, but you can easily skip those if you're not super autismo about it.
