Hello /fit/ yesterday was my first day I started to lift weights. I did OHP, Bench, Skullcrusher, Crossover fly, and triceps kickback with dumbells. Today my left elbow is hurting and when I bend my left elbow it hurts more. Did I tear a ligament or is this normal?
What is crossover fly?
Go to a doctor

Why? It is usually for arms to be sore.
U overtrained bro. Give it 1-3 days rest and see how u feel. It used to happen to me when i was new to lifting too.

Not your elbow

nice trips.
your elbow doesnt get damaged from one time at the gym you dummy, unless you lifted heavy shit like a retard as a beginner
its probably nothing. my arms hurt too when I started lifting. remember to eat and keep lifting, focus on form.

Wait a few more days and if the pain is still as bad, see a doctor. It will probably pass in a few days.
Lower your volume, especially for each muscle group. You don't need two exercises for your triceps on top of your bench press.
Read Starting Strength. Get some help on how to do each compound movement properly (avoid taking a vacation to snap city). Do it for 3 months or so (don't fall for the perma SS meme; it's only good for a short amount of time) and then switch to a 3 day split.

OP here, na I lifted 10, the only other weight was 5 and I didn't feel a thing doing 5. I also noticed yesterday I was fucking up my form cause it was the first time doing those exercises. Could that be why my elbow hurts?

OP this is most likely the reason why your elbow hurts. You fucked up your form and like what the other anon said you have 2 exercises in a specific area.
OP Here my gym only has dumbells Can I do starting strength with only dumbells?

You COULD to some degree, but you probably don't have enough dumbbells for proper progressive overload and dumbbells have you increase your load by 2 x 2kg each time you increase the weight instead of 2.5kg.
Just join a gym or make proper home gym.
OP here thanks for the advice anons.
Depending on how long the pain lasts it could be tendonitis or just a sore joint.
