I'm trying to find a no-frills gym with nice squat racks and other resistance training areas.
What search terms would you recommend?
How do I filter the options that I have to ones worth checking out?
Also pic related in case anyone knows of a good one near here. Thanks.
Are you telling me you don't know how to look up "gym" near you on Maps or whatever, and then see which ones have the best ratings and reviews?

I tend to get a lot of results that are less weightlifting gym and more mom's fitness class. The ones that look like weightlifting gyms all have pretty mixed reviews.
Just looking for some insight/experienced advise.

Ah
I usually just go there and try working out and see for myself what it's like. They'll usually offer you one session free or something
Search facebook. Ask local big guys on facebook or the street.
Decent, independent gyms often don't even have an online presence.

>Ask local big guys on...the street.
Interesting, sounds pretty effective

Oh okay. I'll call a few of the results and ask them this. Thanks
