You may be right if theyre raised on alot of feed, however the rate at which they grow is alot different. We kill chicken at like 2.5 months old that are 3x the size of a 2.5 month chicken thats naturally raised. Of course your grandfathers can get close, but im sure theyre 5-8 months old. Raising them to that age isnt financially sustainable with factory farming.
