Sup /fit/, you might not remember me, but i asked a couple weeks ago about taking Ion Magnesium for a muscular illness, as per read in a scientific paper on such illness and a successful experiment they did with a guy with the same problem. Got the bottles about 5 days ago, started taking them right away. Got immediate results and im pretty fucking excited, but, i wanted to know:
-Whats the best way to take this and get the best out of it? I mean specifically what foods to avoid to not lower its effectivity? Should i take it on small doses during the day? 3 strong doses throughout the day? Should i take it before eating anything in the morning or should i take breakfast first? Im guessing i should follow the rules of general electrolyte taking, but i dont know them and internet only talks about how bad gatorade is and about muh fruits.
-Whats a good way to manage the liquid shits? I not in a liquid shit state currently, but shit def got lot more liquid, like a paste, bowels move a lot more too.

If I remember correctly, magnesium competes for absorption with calcium and zinc so stay away from dairy and fortified foods in between dosing.

Follow up, you'll also want to then make sure you are getting all your electrolytes in as well so you aren't imbalanced. So making sure you get plenty of sodium, potassium, and calcium as well with a lot of water.

illness is a type of Myotonia, where i get muscle stiffness and then severe weakness. with the Mg suplement im still getting some stiffness, but none of the weakness, and i feel damn happy already, because i can deal with the stiffness, it eases up with exercise.
